Jeremy Roe: Male Lead Vocalist
Jeremy has been singing his whole life. Regular public performance
started in high school as a lead vocalist for various musicals, show
choir, and a small a Capella group. After High School, he became
known in some local karaoke bars until being picked up by his first
band, Character, from C'ville. After Character, he had a brief stint with
Reference Point. After various attempts to find the right combination of
talent from both bands, Jeremy took a hiatus from live performance
waiting for the right opportunity to present itself.
So why Liberty's Teeth?
"My biggest problem with past bands has been their dedication to a
specific genre of music. I love lots of music, and so does everyone
else, and as long as we're going to play someone else's music, we
should play everything that is fun to listen to and fun to sing."
"I've always wanted to be in a project with my sister. She's a great
singer and when she brought up the idea of joining her as the male
half of a Brother-Sister duo, I just had to check it out. After meeting
the band, I knew we had something special here."
"This band puts the enjoyment of the fans and the members before
image and genre, and that's what it takes to be successful as a cover
band. You can have a lot of talent, a defined image, and a reputation as
a great band in your type of music, but if you're not making people
have fun, you're doing no better than a jukebox in the corner. That's
what LT does well, we have a lot of fun, and we play music that people
have fun listening to. The band is open to new ideas and doesn't close
itself off to material that we and our fans enjoy just because it's 'not
our image'. I love that."
